Dante I. Leyva-de la Hiz is Assistant Professor of Sustainability and Innovation Management at Montpellier Business School (France). He also belongs to the Innovation, sustainability and business development group at the University of Granada (Spain). Along with his current positions, Dante has conducted research visits at the ETH Zurich (Switzerland) and The George Washington University (U.S.). His research is based on the strategic analysis of environmental innovations. This way, Dante combines two research areas that have been largely studied separately: innovation and environment. Dante analyzes both at the same time to try to disentangle the win-win scenario approach, according to which organizations may increase their profitability through a major innovative performance at the same time that exert a positive impact over natural environment. Dante acts currently as evaluator for opening positions at Montpellier Business School, supervisor of master thesis, committee member of the school’s e-learning service, and evaluator of prospective students, conducting interviews in both English and French. In addition to this, Dante serves as ad-hoc reviewer of the journal Business Ethics: A European Review, as well as of international conferences such as AoM, EAM, EURAM, SMS. Dante has received several grants and awards derived from his research, such as full funding for his doctorate and two research visits, a prize from the Academy of Management Conference (“Best selected paper”), and a national prize (second position) for his doctoral dissertation over Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability.
